Description

On vehicles with long drive shafts, intermediate supports (bearings) are generally installed. The middle support of the two-section drive shaft is usually installed on the frame beam to compensate for the installation error of the drive shaft and the displacement caused by the engine moving or the deformation of the frame when the car is running.

Intermediate support commonly used elastic elements to meet the above requirements, it is mainly composed of bearings, cover with oil seal, bracket, elastic elements.

Some cars use swinging intermediate support, which can swing around the supporting shaft to improve the bearing's stress condition when the engine is moving axially. The rubber bushing can adapt to a small change in the position of the drive shaft axis in the transverse plane.
