The centrifugal compressor is combined with the turbine into one whole, called the turbocharger. The main difference between it and the gas turbine is that the unit does not have a combustion chamber and the corresponding system, the turbine uses the exhaust energy of the reciprocating internal combustion engine to work, and the compressed air provided by its centrifugal compressor is used as the charge of the reciprocating internal combustion engine. In the turbocharger, the compressor impeller and the turbine are assembled on the same rotating shaft, which is called the rotor, and there are seals and push-plates placed on the same rotor shaft and rotating together.
